Phoenix Nextgen FC was founded in 2019, playing in a Friday league at the GFA. A year later, we were elected to the Bristol & Suburban League (division 5), which was cancelled halfway due to COVID-19 and changed to a cup competition. We entered the competition and went on a winning streak to win the cup. From there, the FA decided for us to get promoted to Division 2 next season due to our success with the cup. Due to successful promotion, finishing 3rd in Division 2 in the 2021/2022 season, the club will now play in Division 1. In June 2023, we formed a Reserve team that plays Division 4 in the Bristol & Suburban League.
